MELISSA SHOES

OK – we admit it. We have gone a little shoe crazy around here and have found some great new lines!
The Brazilian brand Melissa shoes are scented, funky, fashionable and most of all, eco-conscious (the factory recycles 99.9 percent of waste and water used in production and the shoes themselves can be recycled). They are also socially responsible (paying employees above-average wages and benefits).
In the plant, Melissa shoes production begins with granulated scented pvc, melted at 160ºC and transformed into flats, wedges and low heels injected shoes. The scent is cleverly applied to disguise the smell of the original raw materials and customers have commented that even three years later, the pleasant scent prevails.
