Simple Baby Shower Ideas
The Joelle’s girls welcomed baby Hudson with a fun baby shower for Laura. We generally have our staff events on week nights because we all work on the weekends! Everything (including the potluck food) turned out so well, that we thought we would share some of our simple baby shower ideas with you!
Pick a colour theme. A diaper cake makes a great centre piece as does this fun chalkboard paint pot planter from Centro Garden.
Other simple baby shower ideas can come from your food and drinks.
Find useful items to use as decorations so the new mom can take them home as part of her gift.
Desserts were bright and colourful to match the theme. Alex’s cupcakes were both beautiful and delicious.

Thirty Bench Wine Makers Toast Joelle’s Fashion Week
Great wines available close to home! Thirty Bench is located in Beamsville and is one of the ever-growing list of wineries located on the “Beamsville Bench” – just a short drive from Burlington. Thirty Bench specializes in “small lot” wines (made in high quality, small batches for limited production) with their signature wine being delicious Riesling. $40,000 Raised for the CIBC Breast Assessment Centre at Juravinski Hospital

We are so thrilled to have donated $40,000 toward the Five Million Dollar Campaign for the CIBC Breast Assessment being planned for Juravinski Hospital! The campaign is underway – over half way there to make this happen. This Centre will revolutionize screening and diagnosis for women at high risk or with a breast abnormality. Designed to be the most comprehensive and advanced assessment centre in the region, the Centre will provide support to women in Brant, Burlington, Haldimand, Hamilton, Niagara and Norfolk.
The Joelle’s and Jeff’s Guyshop Fashion Show Fundraiser for the CIBC Breast Assessment Centre at Juravinski Hospital was held at the Royal Botanical Gardens on Monday, June 6. Many thanks to the sponsors – Whalesongs Intelligent Communication, SONY (Rio-Can Centre, Oakville), The Body Shop, Desigual, Boehringer Ingleheim, Leggat Auto Group, MacDowell Insurance Brokers Limited, Throat Threads Apparel, Dr. Christopher and Bev Wojcicki as well as to Vogue Models and Talent Burlington, SNÖ of Sweden, Burlington Professional Firefighter’s Association, glamjulz, Foxy Originals, Brave Beltworks, Jackson Triggs, Eurostyle Flower Market, and Gunther Mele. With the help of the Joelle’s and Jeff’s Guyshop staff and numerous volunteers, the event was a huge success.
