We are loving this new collection from InWear because the pieces are buy now, wear now and right in to spring! OK – we admit it. We have gone a little shoe crazy around here and have found some great new lines!
The Brazilian brand Melissa shoes are scented, funky, fashionable and most of all, eco-conscious (the factory recycles 99.9 percent of waste and water used in production and the shoes themselves can be recycled). They are also socially responsible (paying employees above-average wages and benefits).
In the plant, Melissa shoes production begins with granulated scented pvc, melted at 160ºC and transformed into flats, wedges and low heels injected shoes. The scent is cleverly applied to disguise the smell of the original raw materials and customers have commented that even three years later, the pleasant scent prevails.

We Just received these clutches from Amy Kathryn that are made in Rwanda. Amy Kathryn donates the proceeds from the sale of these clutches to Gahaya Links to support Rwandan women and the economy that are recovering from the genocide. They are great African fabric clutches with black interior lining and zipper pocket. The clasp is a woven raffia, an artisty that Rwandan women are known for making.
